This was just not her place
All her illusions vanished soon
In the end she'd nothing left
I never belonged to her world
Though I always tried so hard
A world which was too far away
From my own reality
We might have found our luck
In a different time
A time made for the both of us
Where we could live in peace
But her soul couldn't resist
She was always on the run
Fleeing from herself
And finally succeeding
In a hot and wet summer night
Stunned by the sound of the falling rain
On the floor she falls asleep
While her blood runs down the drain
