Pride lit with spotlight ramble
Dance on the edge – suspense
Life’s at the risk of applause
Feet grip the thread like clippers
Steel cuts through bleeding blisters
No thread to cling on – falling
Fear-stricken eyes a-roaming’
A twisting coil of panic
Hands clutch the air like manic
Ribcage cracks through the organs
Bones pop the lung-bags open
Heart pumps the blood stream outwards
Red fountains pouring downwards
Spectators watch in stunned awe
