listening to riversall day, asking myself,
"why are you so far away from me?"
(youre so far away from me, so far away from me)
and i asked you to join me,
but you said, you dont hang with boys like me."
when i sit in my room,
drinking peach ice tea,
it reminds me of you
and i play my guitar
as loud as i can
cause maybe youll pass my open window
cause i wrote all these songs for you,
but i guess youll never hear them
nobodys gonna hear them
cause no-one can understand a boys mind
so if you would be so kind
just look at me once or twice
youd see the passion behind those glasses of mine
